Attorney Michael Giaimo of Cookeville, TN; dimwitted slacker

The state of TennesseeprovidedMichael Robert Giaimo with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to termination representation when required to so act
• Failed expedite client litigation
• Failed to inform the client that he had moved to a different firm
• Failed to properly serve process on one of the three defendants in the Circuit Court action
• Failed to correct this mistake before the statute of limitations ran on the claim, doing irreparable damage to the underlying client claim

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. September 2024), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law at 310 East Broad Street in Cookeville, Tennessee.
