Attorney Theron Burall of Sterling, IL; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Theron William Burall with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the John Marshall School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Theron guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Submitted a certification falsely claiming that he had completed his Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) requirement
• Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law by continuing to represent clients while license suspended
• Neglected one client's dissolution matter, forcing her to retain a new attorney to complete the case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Theron by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), Theron practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Theron W. Burall 502 East 2nd Street in Sterling, Illinois.
