Attorney Richard Broderick of Chicago, IL; ethical dwarf

The state of Illinois presented Richard P. Broderick with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the John Marshall School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Falsely represented to a court that he had been unable to file a motion because he had been admitted to the hospital
• altered dates on pre-existing medical records and submitted those falsified records to the court in order to support his earlier false statement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2024), Dick practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Richard Broderick at 1508 West in Chicago, Illinois.
