Attorney Hyla Viorst of Denver; criminal, pugilist
The state of Colorado provided Hyla Viorst with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from the University of Denver Law School.
The Colorado State Bar found Hyla guilty of the following misconduct.
In December 2011, Hyla pleaded guilty to four separate criminal matters, which are as follows.
It appears as though Hyla’s aggressiveness in dealing with her husband and/or significant other led that person to obtain two orders of protection against her. Must be one tough hombre!
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Hyla by gifting her with a complimentary censure. It could be that the Justices were fearful that Hyla might kick their collective derrieres if they actually suspended her law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Hyla practices law with The Viorst Law Offices, PC at 950 South Cherry Street in Denver, Colorado.
