Judge Erika Ballou of Las Vegas, NV; ethical troll

Unfortunately, the state of Nevada provided Erika D. Ballou with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from Tulane University School of Law.  

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline found Erika guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Posted questionable images and captions on her social media accounts
• Conduct undermined public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary
• Posted a photo of herself in a hot tub with public defenders
• Published an inappropriate statement about her judicial duties on social media
• Posted on Instagram: “Life is STILL beautiful, despite the fact that Billie Eilish doesn’t START for 30 minutes and I have an 8:30 calendar tomorrow'"
• Failed act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
• Participated in activities that would appear to a reasonable person to undermine the Erika's independence, integrity and impartiality

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Erika by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), Marty continues to sit as Clark County Municipal Court judge in Las Vegas, Nevada.
