Attorney Susan Torres of Miami, FL; ethical dwarf

The State of Florida provided Susan Rachel Torres with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from Florida International University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Suzie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely correct a mistake in an appeal on client’s behalf
• Failed to supervise a nonlawyer assistant in an immigration matter causing an order of deportation to become final

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
