Attorney John Carey of Tampa, FL; ethical troll

The State of Florida provided John Kevin Carey with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Florida School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a sexual relationship with a client while representing the client in multiple lawsuits, including the client’s dissolution of marriage
• The sexual relationship became a contentious issue during the litigation, which negatively affected the proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and court filings
• Johnny was also unprofessional in his communications with opposing counsel and the opposing party

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2024), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law at 3186 Bayshore Oaks Blvd in Tampa, Florida.
