Attorney John J. Peden of Columbus, OH: ethical leper-con
The state of Ohio presented John Joseph Peden with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Capitol University Law School.
The Grievance Committee of the Columbus Bar Association found John guilty of the following misconduct.
Johnny’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defenses
Johnny had the chutzpah to defend his misconduct by claiming he suffered from depression for years and was diagnosed with an adjustment disorder with mixed emotional features. Johnny’s so-called psychologist (paid for his opinion) indicated that Johnny’s prognosis was good.
As expected the buffoons (my apologies to buffoons) sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court bought Johnny’s BS depression claims in mitigation of his misconduct.
As a consequence of his 3rd bite at the Misconduct Tree, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license. In reality, the comics sitting on the Court didn’t punish Johnny in any significant manner.
As we speak (ca. July 2012) John at 3731 Laguna Drive in Columbus, Ohio.
