Attorney George Florendo of Philippines; ethical gremlin

The Philippine Supreme Court provided George M. Florendo with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found George guilty of the following misconduct

• Engaged in gross immorality
• Involved in an affair with his client’s wife manifested
• Manifested disrespect for the laws on the sanctity of marriage
• Knowingly violated his own marital vow of fidelity
• Showed his utmost moral depravity and low regard for the legal profession
• Violated the trust and confidence reposed on him by the complainant

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), George practices his so-called brand of law in Baguio City, Philippines.
