Attorney Scott Newman of Jericho, NY; thieving loser

The State of Florida presented Scott Leonard Newman with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Florida State University School of Law.

The 1^st Department Disciplinary Board found Scotty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to make or maintain required bookkeeping records for his escrow account
• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness as a lawyer
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to make or maintain required bookkeeping records for his escrow account
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Scotty!)
• Misappropriated[stole] funds entrusted to him as a fiduciary (thief)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Scotty practices his so-called brand of law at 16 Sutton Terrace in Jericho, New York.
