Attorney Barry Frank of Clifton, NJ; lying loser

The state of New Jersey presented Barry N. Frank with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Barry’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary censure and two (2) suspensions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Barry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Barry!)
  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matter
  • Engaged in recordkeeping violations
  • Formed a partnership with a non-lawyer involving the practice of law
  • Made a false or misleading communication about himself and his legal service
  • Used misleading firm letterhead containing the name of a person not actively associated with the firm as an attorney
  • Knowingly assisted or induced another to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Barry practices his so-called brand of law in Clifton, New Jersey.
