Attorney Lauren Harris of Dallas, TX; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Lauren Ashley Harris with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.

The District 14 Grievance Committee found Lauren guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

  • Neglected the legal matter entrusted to her
  • Failed to perform work on the client’s case
  • Failed to promptly comply with reasonable client information requests

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Lauren by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of her law license. Lauren was also ordered to pay $2,700.00 in investigative costs.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lauren.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Lauren fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.lahlegal.com. Apparently, she chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Lauren practices her so-called brand of law with The Law Offices of Lauren A. Harris in Dallas, Texas.
