The state of Texas presented Robert L. Steindel with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law.

The District Grievance Committee found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

• Failed to properly safeguard client funds
• Failed to promptly deliver client funds to the client
• Failed to hold client funds separate from his own property
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Bobby practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Robert Steindel at 3827 North 10^th Street in McAllen, Texas.
