The state of Michigan presented David G. Grunst with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

FYI: Cooley is ranked as the worst or one of the worst law schools in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools. Proof of such a ranking is the fact that Donald Trump’s former attorney and fixer was none other than convicted felon Michael Cohen.

The Grand Traverse County Hearing Panel #2 found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Davey’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to withdraw from client representation when required to so act
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs in the amount of $68.33.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit a client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect a clients interests upon termination of representation
• Failed to make reasonable efforts to expedite litigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs in the amount of $832.30.
