Attorney Jeffrey Chabrowe of New York City; ethical goblin

The state of Connecticut provided Jeffrey Chabrowe with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Fordham University School of Law.

FYI: Jeff was previously employed as an assistant DA in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office before becoming a defense attorney.

In one matter, Senior U.S. District Judge Denise L. Cote of the Southern District of New York found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to treat opposing party with respect
• Posted nude photos of his litigation opponent on the public docket
• Filing by Jeff of the nude photos could only be interpreted as an attempt to humiliate and place improper pressure on the plaintiff
• Subject opposing party to unnecessary breaches of his privacy and bodily autonomy
• Failed to behave responsibly and in a manner that reflects that reality

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Judge Cote punished Jeff by sanctioning him the amount of $1,000.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jeff fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.chabrowe.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak, (ca. February 2024), Jeff practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Jeffrey Chabrowe at 521 Fifth Avenue in New York, New York.
