Attorney William Roy Jr. of Altamonte Springs, FL; ethical troll

The State of Florida provided William Glenn Roy Jr. with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Stetson University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly communicated with person he knew to be represented by counsel
  • Impugned the integrity of one or more judges
  • In response to Florida Bar, Billy attached a document making unprofessional statements describing portions of the court's Judgment as "false, misleading, with no supporting evidence...driven by the court's high bias in supporting his friends attorneys Vidoni and Bachand"
  • Billy claimed to the State Bar that the entire evolution was a contrived hit job contrived by the Court and the two defense attorneys in retaliation for Billy’s filing of an ethics complaint against Attorney Vidoni
  • Made unprofessional comments toward a trial court judge

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license and he was assessed investigative costs of $1,444.75.

As we speak, (ca. January 2024), Billy practices his so-called brand of law at 411 West Central Parkway in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
