Attorney Jonathan Olson of Green Bay, WI; convicted thief  The state of Wisconsin presented Jonathan A. Olson with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found John guilty of the following misconduct.
Jonathan’s previous law firm discovered that he had written numerous checks for personal expenses on the firm’s account, and had taken advances and salary payments that had not been authorized or matched by payments to the other firm partners.
Jonathan was subsequently charged with an convicted of one count of theft, a Class C felony. The criminal complaint identified 13 unauthorized law firm checks totaling $11,250.
Had Jonathan merely stole the $11,250 from his clients he likely wouldn’t have faced any criminal charges since Attorney Misfits are usually held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else. Stealing money from another law is really frowned upon and will normally end up with criminal charges being filed.
As a consequence of his 4th bite at the Misfit Tree, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Jonathan by gifting him with a compmentary 12-month suspension of his law license.
Jonathon is yet another over 100 convicted felons practicing law in Wisconsin compliments of the comedians sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
As we speak (ca. July 2012) Jonathan practices law with Jonathan Olson & Associates at 108 Packerland Rive in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
On his self-serving website at www.wenportal.org Jonathan makes no mention of the fact that he’s a convicted thief. I suppose if he did so, it might tend to limit his future victim pool.
