Attorney Jeffrey Miller of Cleveland, OH; ethical elf

The state of Ohio presented Jeffrey Charles Miller with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Notre Dame University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Failed to communicate with his clients
• Failed to advise clients of opposing party discovery requests
• Jeff never served opposing counsel with discovery and did not conduct any depositions on behalf of his clients
• Failed to notify client of court-ordered hearing dates
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to promptly inform his client of decisions or circumstances to which the client’s informed consent was required
• Failed to consult with his clients about means by which the clients’ objectives are to be achieved

The only thing remaining is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Jeff by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
