Attorney Keisha Lovelace of Raleigh, NC; ethical elf

The state of North Carolina presented Keisha M. Lovelace with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Keisha guilty of engaging in the following

  • Failed to turn over documents ordered to be provided to opposing counsel
  • Failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that her paralegal’s conduct was compatible with her professional obligations
  • Failed to timely respond to communications from opposing counsel
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to respond to repeated client information requests
  • Failed to inform her client the client case dismissed without prejudice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Keisha by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2024), Keisha  practices her so-called brand of law at 768 Seastone Street in Raleigh, North Carolina.
