Attorney Jeffrey S. Barry of Houston; ethical elf

The state of Texas presented Jeffrey Scott Barry with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

In late 2011 a panel of the District 4-D Grievance Committee found Jeffrey guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to timely respond to summary judgment motion on behalf of client (victim)
  2. Failure to respond to summary judgment led to dismissal of client’s civil lawsuit
  3. Failed to respond to client phone calls
  4. Failed to file mandatory appeal brief leading to dismissal of client’s appeal
  5. Failed to keep client informed of the status of his case
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the District 4-D Grievance Committee punished Jeffrey by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2012) Jeffrey practices at 2075 Antoine Drive in Houston.
