Rhode Island AG Peter Neronha; ethical troll

The state of Pennsylvania provided Jennifer Rogers with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Boston College School of Law.

FYI: Pete has had his significant snout firmly impacted in the public trough for the past twenty-seven (27) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Providence area was about to offer Pete a good-paying job.

In one matter, Superior Court Judge Daniel A. Procaccini referred Pete to the Supreme Court Disciplinary Board for engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Pete violated at least five (5) rules of professional conduct involving tweets he sent during a criminal trial
  • Engaged in a blatant, false, and reckless conduct that this is clearly prohibited under the Rhode Island Rules of Professional Conduct, which applies to all attorneys including the attorney general
  • Pete engaged in unprofessional, unethical conduct
  • Made false statements related to the integrity of the Superior Court bench trial process and the judges who conduct bench trials
  • Pete made derogatory comments while Judge Procaccini was deliberating toward a decision in a bench trial
  • Made a statement that Pete knew to be false or with reckless disregard as to its truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge
  • Improperly made an extrajudicial statement that Pete knew or reasonably should have known would be disseminated by means of public communication and would  have a substantial likelihood of materially prejudicing an adjudicative proceeding in an ongoing criminal matter

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Pete by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Rhode Island Supreme Court.

As we speak, (ca. December 2023), Pete continues to practice his so-called brand of law as Rhode Island’s Attorney General.
