Former Judge Robert Lepore of Brick, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented Robert M. Lepore with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law.

The New Jersey Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct as a part time judge of the Point Pleasant Municipal Court and relates to his use of his personal Facebook account.

• Failed to adhere to the Code of Judicial Conduct when participating in social media
• Bobby’s account contained posts, reposts, "likes," and "friends" list affiliations that conflicted with his ethical obligations under
• Bobby’s Facebook posts and reposts included expressions of support for law enforcement, including imagery associated with "Blue Lives Matter" and similar social movements
• Facebook posts contained multiple references to partisan political viewpoints wherein Bobby expressed agreement and/or endorsed
• On his Facebook pace, Bobby expressed approval· for a private business's efforts to honor Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
• Expressed a bias for law enforcement, or minimally created the appearance of a bias, that cast reasonable doubt on Bobby's ability to act impartially as a judge
• Engaged in a conflict of interest when presiding over matters involving police officers
• Impugned the integrity and impartiality of the Judiciary
• Bobby demonstrated a failure to conform his conduct to the high standards expected of judges
• Impugned the integrity of the Judiciary
• Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the Judiciary
• Lent the prestige of the judicial office to advance Bobby’s private interests or that of others, or allowed
• others to do so
• Conveyed the impression that any person or organization was in a position to influence him
• Failed conduct his extrajudicial activities in a manner that would not demean the judicial office
• Participated in  activities that can be reasonably anticipated to lead to frequent disqualifications
• Failed to comply with Code of Conduct to remain free of politics and the political process, including making speeches for a political organization or candidate, or publicly endorsing a candidate for public office

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Bobby by the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court.
