Attorney Eric James Smith of Arlington, TX; ethically inept

 
The state of Texas presented Eric James Smith with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Baylor University Law School.
 
In late 2011 a panel of the District 7 Grievance Committee found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Failed to keep client informed of the status of her guardianship matter
  • Failed to comply with request for information from client (victim)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Eric practices at 2310 West Interstate 20 in Arlington, Texas.
