Judge David Camilletti of Charlestown, WV; potty mouth bully

The state of West Virginia presented David A. Camilletti with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin was duped into appointing Davey as a 24^th Family Court Circuit judge in 2015. Davey didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified individual in the greater Charleston area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was a judge of the 24^th Family Court Circuit in Charleston.

• Engaged in intemperate behavior while on the bench
• Judicial Commission lodged seventeen (17) charges against Davey
• Failed to treat litigants appearing before him with respect and dignity
• Threatened that if the Court did not install a computer at every station where he presides, then he would purchase his own and hire his own personal hacker to get him into the Court's system
• When the Technician arrived to remove the computer, Davey told him that if the Supreme Court Justices did not like the way he was using his computer equipment, that he would call the Justices and tell them to “fuck off”
• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw) 
• Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
• Abused the prestige of his judicial office 
• Failed to act impartially and fairly in dealings with those appearing before him 
• Engaged in conduct involving bias and prejudice 
• Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers, court staff, court officials, and others with whom the judge deals in an official capacity 
• Failed to cooperate with other judges and court officials in the administration of court business 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the West Judicial Investigation Commission punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension from the bench.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Davey continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 24^th Family Court Circuit Judge in Charleston, West Virginia.
