Former Judge Harrell Milhouse of Flint, MI; ethical troll

The state of Michigan provided Harrell D. Milhouse with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the State University of New York Buffalo School of Law.

The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission found Harrell guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as 68^th District Court Judge in Flint, Michigan.

• Knowingly executed and caused to be filed in court records a judgment of sentence that falsely stated that the defendant had pled guilty to three misdemeanor
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Knowingly made false and misleading statements to the Ethics Commission during its investigation (Screw you, said Harrell!)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Falsely stated that the defendant had knowingly, intelligently, and voluntarily waived the right to counsel, and pled guilty to the charged offense
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
• Engaged in irresponsible or improper conduct which erodes public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme court punished Harrell by gifting him with a complimentary censure and suspended him from the bench without pay for ten (10) days.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Harrell practices his so-called brand of law at 717 South Grand Traverse Street in Flint, Michigan.
