Judge Catherine Woods of Tucson, AZ; incompetent boob

The state of Arizona provided Catherine Woods with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Jan Brewer was duped into appointing Cathy as a Pima County Superior Court judge in September 2011. Cathy didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Tucson area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Arizona Judicial Performance Review (JPR) Commission has determined that Cathy does not meet Judicial Performance Review Standards.

The twenty-nine (29) member commission voted 22-7 against retaining Cathy who was formerly a member of the Tucson law firm Rusing and Lopez.

Despite the commission’s vote to not retain Cathy, she remains on the bench as a Pima County Superior Court Judge in Tucson, Arizona as of December 2023.
