Attorney Joseph Fingliss Jr. of Fall River, MA; cheating moron
The state of Massachusetts presented Joseph Patrick Fingliss Jr. with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Boston College School of Law.
The Board of Bar Overseers found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

-
Threatened to lie about his client’s ex-wife
-
Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
-
Misrepresented his fees
-
Attempted to pass off charitable contributions from trust assets as his own
-
Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
-

-
Missed appropriate statute of limitations for filing case on client’s behalf
-
To obtain client agreement to accept lower settlement offer, Joey fabricated a story that the insurer was about to file for bankruptcy
-
While representing a husband in a modification and contempt proceeding, Joey falsely accused his client’s ex-wife (a nurse) of stealing drugs from the hospital where she worked and using drugs in her house where children were present
-
Joey made intentional misrepresentations to the ex-wife

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. October 2023), Joey practices his so-called brand of law with the Casas Garcia Law Firm at 340 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
