Former Judge Corrie Damulis of Burlington, NY; slacker, loser

The State of New York provided Corrie A. Damulis with a law license in 2015 after she graduated from Ohio Northern University School of Law.

FYI:Ohio Northern University School of Law is ranked as the 161^st best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The State Commissionon Judicial Conduct found Corrie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Mishandled court funds in previous position as a Justice of the Richfield Springs Village Court and as a Justice of the Burlington Town Court
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to file reports or remit funds to the Office of the State Comptroller in the time required by law over the course of at least three (3) months
• Failed to deposit court funds in a timely manner

Rather than await a decision from the Judicial Commission that would like have led to her being tossed off the bench, Corrie did what most cowardly Judicial Misfits do, she resigned and agreed to never seek a judicial office in New York for the balance of her life.

As we speak (ca. October 2023), Corrie continues to dispense her so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Justice of the Burlinton Town Court, Otsego County, New York. Additionally, Corrie supplements her judicial income by practicing her brand of law with the Law Office of Corrie A. Damulis at 7 West Street in Edmeston, New York.
