The state of Oregon provided Daniel J. Gatti with a law license in 1973.
The Oregon State Bar found Daniel guilty of the following misconduct:
In one matter, Danny the Liar was involved with various disputes with State Farm Insurance Company involving medical review reports generated by Comprehensive Medical Review (CMR) that State Farm used to accept or deny medical claims.
After State Farm denied a client’s insurance claim, Danny the Dumbo called CMR and spoke with Mr. Becker and Adams.
He told Adams he was a doctor, that he had experience performing independent medical examinations, that he was interested in participating in CMR’s educational programs for insurance claims adjusters, and that he was interested in working for CMR as a claim reviewer.
Danny the Moron then told Mr. Becker that he was a chiropractor. He might have had better luck if he told him he was a practicing proctologist working in the Legal Industry.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits at the Oregon State Bar punished Daniel by gifting him with a complimentary public reprimand.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Daniel practices law with Gatti Gatti Maier Sayer Thayer and Associates at 1781 Liberty Street SE in Salem, Oregon.
