Attorney Stephen Brinton of Wilmington, DE; drunken convict

The state of Pennsylvania provided Stephen Daniel Brinton with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Caused major car accident wherein he recklessly endangers three-year-old passenger in his car and driver of a Mercedes-Benz, who suffered substantial injuries to his head and back
  • Failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests
  • Stevie lied to arresting officers that he was not intoxicated
  • Engaged in professional misconduct via the commission of a criminal act

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Stevie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.dalton.law.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2023),  Stevie practices his so-called brand of law with Dalton & Associates PA at 1106 West 10th Street in Wilmington, Delaware.
