Attorney Camille Hill of Fayetteville, NC; cheating liar

The state of North Carolina presented Camille Elyse Hill with a law license in 2016 after she graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Camille guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Did not obtain her client’s written consent to a division of attorney’s fees among herself, her former law firm, and a lawyer at another firm
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Did not advise her client that she could have remained a client of Hill’s former law firm before transferring her client’s case to another lawyer
• Made misrepresentations to the Grievance Committee (Screw you, said Camille!)
• Collected a clearly excessive fee (cheater)
• Did not deposit disputed mixed funds into a trust account until the dispute regarding those funds was resolved

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Camille by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Camille.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Camille fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.hillegal.net. Apparently, she decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Camille practices her so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Camille E. Hill at 111 Lamon Street in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
