Attorney Diana Herrera of Phoenix, AZ; ethical dwarf

The state of Arizona presented Diana Herrera with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from Western Michigan Cooley School of Law. 

The Arizona State Bar found Diana guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was employed as a City of Phoenix prosecutor.

• Prior to a jury trial, Diana had a conversation with the defendant in the absence of defense counsel
• Diana faced the defendant and his friend and discussed the case without defense counsel’s knowledge or consent
• Falsely stated to trial judge that all her police officers were present to testify
• Engaged in misrepresentation of a material fact
• Due to Diana’s misconduct in the case, the trial judge dismissed the case with prejudice due to prosecutorial (Diana’s) misconduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Diana by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $5,745.16.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Diana practices her so-called brand of law as the City of Phoenix Prosecutor in Phoenix, Arizona.
