Attorney David Simonini of San Rafael, CA; convicted batterer

The state of California presented David Michael Simonini with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to making criminal threats, a felony
• Pled guilty to one misdemeanor count of battery
• After drinking heavily with his wife and another couple, everyone left and went to Davey’s residence
• Davey became drowsy from the booze and went to sleep
• When Davey awoke, he found the couple and his wife engaged in sexual activity
• Davey then ordered the man to leave his home and when he didn’t, Davey went upstairs and returned with a gun he had stored there
• The two men scuffled, and the gun fired and hit Davey’s friend in the foot

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Davey practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of David M. Simonini at 110 C Street in San Rafael, California.
