Former Judge Thornton Hatter of Seattle, WA; pedophile

The State of Washington presented Thornton Basil Hatter with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Conduct found Thornton guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was serving as a Jefferson County District Court Pro Tem Judge.

• Knowingly engaged in misconduct with a minor
• Thornton picked up a twelve-year old while the minor was hitchhiking, taken the minor to his house overnight, and dropped the minor off by the side of the road the next morning
• Thornton’s conduct was serious, involving a judicial officer appearing to take advantage of a naive twelve-year old in circumstances where the child was vulnerable
• Thornton’s statement to the minor that he did not have any rubbers as an excuse not to engage in anal intercourse was inappropriate to a naive boy
• Intimidated an individual who owed him money.
• Engaged in pattern of conduct involving individuals in vulnerable positions

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary censure and order disqualifying him from sitting as a judge in the future.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Thornton practices his so-called brand of law in Seattle, Washington.
