Attorney Miranda Hunter of Buffalo, NY; ethical gremlin

The Law State of New York provided Miranda Louise Hunter with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Law.

The Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel found Miranda guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on her fitness as a lawyer
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Miranda!)
  • Failed to take action to protect the interests of her clients
  • Failed to keep her clients informed regarding the status of their respective matters, resulting in prejudice to
  • those clients

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel punished Miranda by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Miranda practices her so-called brand of law in Buffalo, New York.
