The state of Virginia presented Stephen Phillip Givando with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to promptly pay or deliver to the client or another as requested by such person
• Failed to deposit client funds in one or more identifiable trust accounts

Additionally, Stevie was ordered to repay Laura Russell $10,000.00, in monthly payments of $1,000.00 beginning April 1, 2023
