Attorney Kathleen Shannon of Traverse City, MI; drunken convict

The state of Michigan presented Kathleen K. Shannon with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Indiana University School of Law. Kathy also received a law license to practice in Indiana in 1988 and Illinois in 1989.

The Attorney Discipline Board Grand Traverse County Hearing Panel #1 found Kathy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of Operating While Intoxicated
  • Engaged in conduct that violated a criminal law of a state or of the United States

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Kathy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $806.93.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Kathy practices her so-called brand in Traverse City, Michigan.
