Attorney Joseph Adams of Los Angeles; moronic slacker

The state of California presented Joseph Adams with a law license in 2019 after he graduated from the University of California Davis School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Intentionally, recklessly, repeatedly, or grossly negligently failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Misconduct harmed significantly a client, the public, or the administration of justice
• Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
• Failed to timely submit client’s citizenship petition
• Recklessly failed to perform with competence (moron)
• Failed to inform client that he did not submit citizenship applications
• Failed to keep client informed of significant developments in a matter
• Failed to promptly respond to eight written client status inquiries
• Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $8,952.00.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Joey practices his so-called brand of law with Joseph Adams and Associates at 8355 West Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles, California.
