Attorney Michael Mack of Alpena, MI; repeat drunken convict

The state of Michigan presented Michael G. Mack with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Michigan State University School of Law.

The Attorney Discipline Board Emmet County Hearing Panel #3 found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of two counts of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content in excess of .17
  • Failed to provide mandatory notice of the two convictions to the grievance administrator
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mikey!)
  • Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct that exposes the legal profession or the courts to obloquy, contempt, censure, or reproach
  • Engaged in conduct that is contrary to justice, ethics, honesty, or good morals

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $1,359.46.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law at 1181 Dow Drive in Alpena, Michigan.
