Former Judge David Rikard of Prattsville, NY; ethical troll

The State of New York provided David A. Rikard with a law license in 2001 after she graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a Justice of the Prattsville Town Court in Greene County.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Davey!)
• Refused to provide documents requested by ethics investigators
• Engaged in inappropriate demeanor
• Engaged in unauthorized political activity
• Engaged in poor financial reporting and accounting practices
• Called New York Gov. Kathy Hochul a “communist”

As one would suspect when dealing with a cowardly misfit, Davey resigned his position as a judge before punishment could be meted out regarding his misconduct.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Davey practices his so-called brand of law as chief assistant District Attorney for Delaware County, New York.
