Attorney David Burgren of Hayward, CA; scamming loser

The state of California presented David Allen Burgren with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • When applying for the $224,000 loan through Countrywide, Davey filled out an application that stated he was purchasing the property as primary residence, even though he knew that he was purchasing the property as an investment and not residence
  • Davey failed to tell Countrywide that the down payment funds were being improperly gifted by Mr. Z., respondent’s real estate agent and that Davey was not required to pay back any of the funds
  • Subsequently, Davey received a check for $20,000 from Washington Mutual Bank as a kickback for his participation in the improperly funded real estate transaction

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $3,200.00.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), Davey practices his so-called brand of law at 24948 Mead Way in Hayward, California.
