Former Judge Rebecca Pilshaw of Wichita, KS; slacker, loser

The state of Kansas provided Rebecca L. Pilshaw with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law.

The Kansas Commission on Judicial Conduct found Rebecca guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as a Sedgwick County District Court judge.

• Failed to respect and comply with the law
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary
• Lost her temper and engaged in emotional outbursts
• Failed to perform his duties impartially
• Failed to require order and decorum in proceedings before him
• Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers and others with whom she dealt with in an official capacity

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the comedians sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Becky by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Becky practices her so-called brand of law with Pilshaw Law at 1999 North Amidon in Wichita, Kansas.
