Attorney John Burton of Pasadena, CA; convicted drunk

The state of California provided John Christopher Burton with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI)
• Guilty of driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more] with an allegation that respondent’s blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent or more

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $3,200.00.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny.
