Attorney Santo Artusa Jr. of Jersey City, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey presented Santo V. Artusa, Jr. with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Santo guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Committed a criminal act adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Santo!)
  • Engaged in various recordkeeping violations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Santo by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), Santo practices his so-called brand of law with the Artusa Law Firm at 25 Journal Square Plaza in Jersey City, New Jersey.
