U.S.Appeals Judge Cory Wilson of New Orleans; cheerleader for wife-beaters

The District of Columbia provided Cory Todd Wilsonwith a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Yale University School of Law.

FYI: Cory wasn’t nominated to sit on the 5^th Circuit Court of Appeals by former President Donald Trump because he was the most qualified attorney available. Jimmy was appointed because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for MAGA screwballs and other assorted right wing nut cases.

In one matter, Cory was assigned to hear an appeal by a convicted wife-beater who was denied the right to arm himself after he was denied the right to carry a weapon after his abuse victim had obtained a court-ordered protective order.

In his ruling, Cory issued a ruling in favor of the wife beater’s right to bear arms. Cory’s decision went on to say, that modern gun control laws must be “consistent with the Second Amendment’s text and historical understanding.”

In his never-ending attempt to establish his credentials as an Aspiring Standup Comedian, Cory went on to state that wife beater Rahimi’s rights were violated when law enforcement disarmed him due to the protective order.

And lastly, and in fairness to Cory, allowing convicted wife-beaters to carry guns would dramatically decrease medical costs when a wife beater can just shoot his spouse verses beating the crap out of her with his fists. Afterall, the cost to the insurer for the wife beater to go to the ER for medical care when compared to the cost of a bullet is quite dramatic.

As we speak (ca. April 2023), Cory continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a 5^th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge in New Orleans, Louisiana.
