Reasons to avoid hiring Judge Richard McQuade, Jr. as a mediator
Employing Judge Richard McQuade as a mediator would be like hiring the Sammy “The Bull” Gravanno to impartially mediate a dispute between a mob debtor and John Gotti.
A cursory review of Judge Richard McQuade’s sordid past would indicate that for a price one can purchase a favorable ruling. In other words, it would appear that Judge Richard McQuade is more than willing to sell his so-called mediation services to the highest bidder.
It would be difficult to imagine why any sane person would agree to pay Judge Richard McQuade several hundred dollars an hour to mediate a case if they weren’t assured of the outcome.
Moreover, since Judge Richard McQuade is a celebrated and notorious wife-beater, drunk and practicing misogynist, nobody in their right mind would hire him as a mediator if the case involved the equitable distribution of marital assets and they were representing the abused wife. On the other hand, a spousal abuser couldn’t find a more understanding and compassionate mediator than Judge Richard McQuade.
In my experience in reviewing the compensation (payroll) claims of Judge Richard McQuade (ca. 1992-2002) while he was a retired visiting judge, it is plainly clear that Judge Richard McQuade engaged in serial thefts of public funds by billing for hours he never worked. Therefore, since Judge Richard McQuade bills by the hour as a mediator, one can safely assume that he is inflating the numbers of hours worked just as he did from 1992 to 2002.
Now if you’re looking for an honest mediator that isn’t out to unjustly enrich himself or herself, then I’d advise that you steer clear of Judge Richard McQuade. The only thing and I mean the only thing that Judge Richard McQuade is now or has ever been concerned with is enriching himself at everyone else’s expense.
