Attorney Christopher Dreisbach of Harrisburg, PA; convict, loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Christopher Arthur Dreisbach with a law license in 2005.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Christopher guilty of the following misconduct.  In late 2009 Christopher was arrested and charged with:
  1. Two counts of aggravated assault
  2. Two counts of simple assault
  3. Public drunkenness
  4. Unlawful restraint and Serious Bodily Injury
  5. Indecent assault without the consent of another
  6. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his honest and trustworthiness
The criminal incident came about while Chris was allegedly experiencing a “mixed bipolar episode,” which is a three part cocktail made up of depression, anxiety and  his medication by consuming a large amount of booze.

Later that day, a female law partner of Chris’ came to his home and saw him on the porch acting bizarre. She managed to get Chris inside the house to prevent his neighbors from finding out what he really was. In an attempt to “snap him out of it” she splashed a glass of wine in his face. Chris apparently wasn’t happy about this waste of alcohol and came after her. In another attempt to “snap him out of it,” she hit Chris over the head with a glass vase. This caused a confrontation between the two that resulted in Chris grabbing her breast.

Subsequently, Chris pleaded guilty to four counts of simple assault, one count of indecent assault, one count of unlawful restraint, and one count of public drunkenness. Chris was sentenced to seven years of probation and 700 hours of community service.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Christopher by gifting him with a 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2012) Christopher practices law with Robinson & Geraldo PC at 2505 North Front Street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
