Attorney DanMinh Quy Mui of New Orleans, LA; convicted loser

The state of Louisiana presented DanMinh Quy Mui with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Mui guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Mui!)
• Arrested for driving under the influence (DUI)
• When the officer got out of his patrol car to approach his vehicle, Mui drove off, turning onto another street and into the parking lot of an apartment complex
• While attempting to remove Mui from his vehicle, the arresting officer was struck in the groin by Mui’s foot as he
• resisted being removed from his vehicle
• Mui’s conduct caused potential harm to the public
• Knowingly violated duties owed to the public and the legal profession
• Mui’s conduct reflects adversely on the profession
• Involved in the illegal use of controlled substances

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Mui by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license effective December 9, 2022. 

As we speak (ca. April 2023), Mui practices his so-called brand of law at 3616 South Service Road West in New Orleans, Louisiana.
