Attorney Corey Anderson of Harrisburg, PA; dimwitted slacker

The state of Pennsylvania provided Corey James Adamson with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Penn State University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Corey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
  • Neglected client’s legal matter
  • Misled client as to status of his case
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Corey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2023), Corey practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Jason R. Carpenter at 4800 Linglestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
