Attorney Robert Tobia of Philadelphia, PA; ethical elf

The state of Pennsylvania provided Robert M. Tobia with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to identify and appropriately safeguard cleint funds
  • Failed to maintain a check register
  • Failed to maintain separate client ledgers
  • Failed to maintain regular trial balance of individual client trust ledgers
  • Failed to perform monthly reconciliations for each client fiduciary account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Bobby fails to mention the aforementioned misconduct on his self-serving website at www.gtlawpc.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant information from prospective clients so as to not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. October 2023), Bobby practices his so-called brand of law with Glanzberg Tobia Law PC at 123 South Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
